We meet on the second Friday of each month at 10.30 am and visit a variety of villages, both locally and further a field.
We have a planning meeting in February each year when we agree which villages we will visit.
It is usually possible to have a talk or tour from those with specialist knowledge of the village we visit, for example a member of the local heritage society. At other times a member of the group will volunteer to research a village and guide us.
As we are often some distance from home, we usually stop for lunch in a local pub before returning.
